ISO/IEC 19770-2:2009 Software Identification Tag

ISO 19770-2 is an international standard that aims to simplify the identification of the software applications that are installed on a computer.

Advanced Installer allows you to create setup packages that deploy on the target computer information required by this standard to accurately identify the installed application. This is particularly important when your application is installed in an enterprise environment where the license compliance requirements are tight.

Information required for software identification is collected in one XML based file that should be placed on the target computer into the application directory and into another directory that is common for all applications and is dependent only of the computer operating system.
